Weddings at the West House Country Hotel
The West House Hotel is one of the most popular wedding locations in the Vale of Glamorgan. It's the unique atmosphere and feel of the place that people love.

Unfortunately, we simply can't show you that on the 'net so all we ask of you is that if you are considering getting married, please contact our Wedding Team and they will be glad to give you a guided tour of the facilities. We promise that you will not be disappointed - no one ever is !!

The West House also just about the only venue locally that doesn't operate a 'production line' wedding system. Most venues will hold at least two or three weddings on the same day to maximise profit but we don't work like that. Nightmare tales of fights breaking out between 'rival' wedding parties are very common and no couple should have to share their special day with another bride and groom, unless they want to.
We concentrate on one wedding per day. All of our efforts are purely to make your wedding day one of the most memorable and special days in your life. We take our time getting it right so that you can sit back and enjoy the day.

We are licensed to conduct Civil Weddings as well as host your Reception party. Your marriage ceremony can be conducted in either the beautiful conservatory (for smaller weddings of up to 50 people), in the Heritage Room ( for up to 70 people) or for a larger wedding of up to 120 people we arrange a luxurious marquee. Surveys have shown that the stress of arranging a wedding is second only to having an operation so we offer as much help as we can to ensure that you have a wonderful day that you will remember forever.

You can enjoy one of our complimentary Bridal Suites with breakfast served to your room. (Click here to see the two rooms). If you have arranged a Church Wedding, then we can host your Reception, and can offer special accommodation rates for your guests staying overnight. Please don't forget that our excellent cooks make all the food for your wedding so you get the same superb quality that you would in our famous restaurant.

Our delightful hotel is set in it's own lovely gardens which provide ideal settings for beautiful wedding photographs.

What about a Winter Wedding ?
Some wit once said that the only difference between summer and winter in the UK was that the rain was a little warmer in the summer.
In the past couple of years we have had a considerable rise in Winter Weddings. People have commented that there is something special in getting married in the toasty warmth when it's freezing outside. With all three of our log fires burning, the atmosphere is simply magical. Unfortunately, we cannot cater for over 70-80 people in the winter evenings, so these weddings tend to be small, cozy affairs.
